MAUMELLE, Ark. (3/28/17) – Competing with a pair of squads at the A-State/Little Rock Invitational, the Arkansas State women’s golf team concluded the 54-hole tournament Tuesday with fifth and 10th place finishes among the 13-team field.
Arkansas State was led by four players placing among the top-20 individuals, including three that helped lead the Red Wolves’ squad that finished fifth to a team score of 918. The unit recorded a 309 for each of the first two rounds yesterday before coming back today to post 300, which was the lowest third-round score among the entire field.
“Shooting the lowest score today was a great accomplishment because our team goal was a 299, so I’m really excited about that,” said A-State head coach M.
