CONWAY, Ark. (9/12/21) – Freshman forward Emma Riley scored her first career goal and senior goalkeeper Megan McClure secured her 25th career shutout as the Arkansas State women's soccer team closed non-conference play with 1-0 win at Central Arkansas Sunday evening.
The victory secured the 50th win in head coach Brian Dooley's tenure at Arkansas State. He is now eight wins shy of 250 career wins over his 25 years as a head coach.
McClure's clean sheet extended her school record and marks the third win for A-State (3-3-1) this season coming in a shutout.
