JONESBORO, Ark. (7/11/19) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team was named a recipient of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA award after the Red Wolves finish with the fifth best GPA in Division I as the WGCA released its award winners Thursday afternoon.
A-State finished the year with a 3.817 to rank fifth behind New Mexico (3.903), Coastal Carolina (3.862), Cal Baptist (3.831) and Jacksonville (3.824). This is the second-straight season and second time in program history Arkansas State has earned an All-Scholar Team GPA Award, which began in the 2004-05 season. The Red Wolves ranked second in 2017-18 with a team GPA of 3.
