JONESBORO -- Daryl Rollins-Davis was a few months removed from a decorated high school career when he settled his cleats onto the grass turf of Neyland Stadium.
The Knoxville, Tenn., native was in his hometown in 2014 to play his second college game, and his 4.3 speed in the 40-yard dash convinced Coach Blake Anderson he should return kicks despite his lack of experience doing so. He just happened to do it for the first time in front of almost 100,000 people, including family members, friends and former coaches.
"It was kind of like a dream come true," Rollins-Davis said.
