Police: Thieves take $1,700, headphones from Toledo players in visiting locker room at ASU

The University of Toledo’s football team easily dismantled the Arkansas State Red Wolves on Friday night in Jonesboro, but the Rockets' 31-10 victory came at an unexpected cost — more than $2,100 worth of cash and property.

According to a report from Arkansas State University police, thieves stole $1,737 in cash, 3 pairs Beats by Dr. Dre headphones valued at $459 total, two wallets and an unspecified number of credit cards from the visiting locker room at Centennial Bank Stadium on Friday.

In the report, Jeremy Boyd, an assistant equipment manager at Toledo, told police that a person or people had gone into the locker room and stolen from the players.
