MEMPHIS, Tenn. (4/10/18) – The Arkansas State baseball team’s offense couldn’t solve the Memphis pitching staff as the Red Wolves only tallied three hits in a 4-1 loss to the Tigers Tuesday night at FedExPark.
A-State (11-17) starter Zachary Patterson pitched well as the Cabot, Ark., native tossed a career-best 5.1 innings and allowed just three hits with four strikeouts against three walks. However, he allowed a single and a walk with one out in the sixth to be chased from the game with the score tied 1-1. Bo Ritter entered and threw a wild pitch to advance the runners.
