JONESBORO, Ark. (4/14/21) – Coming off an impressive freshman campaign on the Arkansas State men's basketball team, Norchad Omier will represent Nicaragua in FIBA World Cup Pre-Qualifiers beginning April 15 in El Salvador.
Nicaragua opens the qualifier against Guyana on Thursday, April 15 at 8:00 pm (CT). Nicaragua then plays Jamaica on Friday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. (CT) and then plays host El Savador on Sunday, April 18 at 6:00 p.m. (CT). Nicaragua closes out competition against Costa Rica on Monday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. (CT). The top three teams advance to the second round of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Pre-Qualifiers in July.
