JONESBORO, Ark. (4/15/16) – Deven Simms, a first-team all-America junior college standout from Connors State College has signed a National Letter of Intent with Arkansas State University head men’s basketball coach Grant McCasland announced today.
“We are excited to have Deven join our family as the first signee this spring,” said McCasland. “I really like the versatility, athleticism and competitiveness that Deven will bring to our program. He is a dynamic guard that can score, distribute and rebound at a high level. Deven was the leading scorer on a highly successful team and he will bring that playmaking experience to our team.
