JONESBORO, Ark. (12/5/17) – A-State outside hitter Carlisa May collected her third straight Southwest All-Region honor from the American Volleyball Coaches Association with an honorable mention selection as the AVCA announced its All-Region teams Tuesday morning.
A native of Lee’s Summit, Mo., May claimed her third All-Region honor in as many seasons after she was named to the Southwest All-Region squad in 2015 and earned Honorable Mention Southwest All-Region honors a year ago. Her award this season gives Arkansas State a total of 13 All-Region honorees in school history with nine of those coming in the past four seasons.
