JONESBORO, Ark. (4/18/16) – Arkansas State true freshman Aracelly Jimenez Rios has been tabbed a first team selection on the 2016 All-Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Team, announced Monday by the league office.
Jimenez Rios, who has collected four top-10 finishes this season, is the first A-State player to earn All-Sun Belt honors since Abi Laker in 2013. The Red Wolves have now had 18 players earn the recognition a combined 31 times.
The Merida, Mexico, native was one of six players in the league to earn first-team honors, while an additional six players received second-team accolades.
