MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (4/18/16) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team continued play Monday at the Sun Belt Conference tournament, shooting a second-round 312 at the Raven Golf Club to give the Red Wolves a combined 622 and place them seventh among nine teams.
One day after shooting a team-best 75, Aracelly Jimenez Rios led A-State again by carding a 76 and moving up one place in the standings into a tie for fifth. With a combined 151, the true freshman will enter tomorrow’s final round only one stroke behind fourth-place Yeji Shin of Georgia Southern and within five strokes of second-place Shania Berger of Little Rock.
