JONESBORO, Ark. (6/26/17) - Arkansas State track and field junior sprinter Jaylen Bacon earned his spot as a member of the 4x100m relay pool to represent the United States at the IAAF World Championships in August.
Bacon finished fourth in the 100m dash at the USA Outdoor Championships last weekend. He opened by winning his first round heat in 10.01 seconds to rank fifth among those to advance to the semifinals. In the semis, he had a time of 10.15 seconds to rank third and easily advance to the final. He finished fourth in the final with a time of 10.
