HARRISONBURG, Va. (5/8/25) – A trio of Arkansas State track and field athletes topped the podium on Thursday to open the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships at Sentara Park.
A-State ended the first day of the three-day event in second on the men's side with 21 points, while the women's squad enters Day 2 in fourth with 20 points.
Noa Isaia won the Red Wolves' first gold of the day, winning the men's hammer throw with a toss of 65.66m (215-5) – over 14 feet better than the runner-up.
Carly Pujol captured gold in the women's pole vault, breaking her own school record with a height of 4.
