Griswold Receives Senior Bowl Invitation

JONESBORO, Ark. (1/27/16) – Four days removed from playing in the East-West Shrine Game, former Arkansas State tight end Darion Griswold was invited Wednesday to play in the Senior Bowl this Saturday, Jan. 30, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

A four-year A-State football letterman from 2012-15, Griswold will play for the South squad in the NFL Network-televised game set to kickoff at 1:30 p.m. (CT). The two-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection will become the eighth all-time Arkansas State player, as well as the first since linebacker Demario Davis in 2012, to compete in the Senior Bowl.
