LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (10/15/2016) – Three freshmen finished inside the top five to help the Arkansas State women’s cross country team to a first place finish at the Little Rock Invitational Saturday.
The A-State women had three runners finish in the top five and all five finished in the top-11 to grab first place honors. Freshman Elizabeth Gillette paced the Red Wolves as she finished second with a time of 18:42.7 while freshman Anaelle Charles was third finishing in 18:52.7. Freshman Sammy Brainard placed fifth (19:18.5) with sophomore Rebecca Eldien seventh (19:31.1) and junior Erin Nunan was 11th (19:45.
