According to Jonesboro Police Department spokesman Paul Holmes, 26-year-old Joshua Dewayne Jarboe, was arrested by drug task force agents about 11 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a firearm by certain persons and a felony probation violation.
Holmes said Jarboe was cited for driving on a suspended license but Jarboe had not been charged with a drug charge.
Meanwhile, in December 2014, he was arrested in his Jonesboro home in connection with a drug case.
Jarboe, who was famous for his red tipped dreadlocks, was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2013.
