JONESBORO -- Arkansas State University Coach Blake Anderson announced Thursday at the team's media day that first-year defensive coordinator and linebackers coach David Duggan will also be the Red Wolves' assistant head coach for the time being.
The moves comes on the heels of Anderson's wife Wendy's ongoing battle with cancer over the past year.
"I think it's more important at this point in time than it has been in the past, just dealing with what my family is dealing with off the field," Anderson said.
Anderson said he's met with ASU's administration, including Athletic Director Terry Mohajir, multiple times over the summer.
