JONESBORO, Ark. (11/9/16) – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team has announced the signing of Tyler Community College guard Ashley Clayborn to a National Letter of Intent to continue her collegiate career with the Red Wolves.
Clayborn averaged 13 points, five rebounds and two assists as a freshman for Tyler as a freshman during the 2015-16 season. She helped her squad to a 24-8 overall record and advanced to the semifinals of the Region XIV Tournament.
“We needed to add size to our guard rotation and Ashley brings that,” A-State head coach Brian Boyer said. “She is a big and athletic guard and she can shoot the ball very well too.
