HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. (10/29/17) – Sarah Childers completed the Little Rock Golf Classic’s opening round Sunday tied for third place to lead Arkansas State, which stands in 12th place among 15 teams after posting a 308 at the Diamante Golf Club.
Childers, a senior, carded a 72 to match her lowest single-round score of the season and was joined among the top-10 individual leaders by junior Aracelly Jimenez Rios, who is tied for seventh place after shooting a 73.
While the Red Wolves stand 12th, they are just two strokes behind a pair of teams tied for 10th and within seven of Jacksonville State and Missouri State, which are tied for second.
