ARLINGTON, Texas. (1/21/16) – Arkansas State junior guard Devin Carter scored a career high 34 points, but UT Arlington was 15-of-36 (42 percent) from long range to defeat the Red Wolves 91-64 Thursday night.
Carter scored his career high 34 points on 12-of-22 (55 percent) shooting, including 5-of-13 (39 percent) from 3-point range. The 34 points by Carter marked the first time an A-State player scored 30 or more points since Anthony Livingston had 31 points against UT Arlington on Feb. 28 last season.
Livingston posted his 24th career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, but the rest of the A-State team combined for 19 points on 6-of-30 (20 percent) shooting from the field.
