Canadian Men's Amateur Championship Ends with Napier Tied for 16th

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (8/10/17) – Arkansas State senior men's golfer Tanner Napier completed play Thursday at the 113th Canadian Men's Amateur Championship, carding a final-round round 75 to finish the 72-hole tournament with a combined 1-over 281 that placed him tied for 16th out of over 260 players.

Napier entered today's final round just three strokes out of first place, but fell 11 places in the standings after posting previous scores of 69, 65 and 72 for each of the first three rounds, respectively. The Paris, Texas, native's 281 total left him just three strokes away from a top-10 finish.
