JONESBORO -- There was some question of whether Arkansas State University fans would see junior quarterback Logan Bonner suit up for Saturday's spring game at Centennial Bank Stadium.
Bonner had the answer.
"He was determined he was going to play today," offensive coordinator Keith Heckendorf said. "Nothing was going to stop him from doing that. When you've got guys who love the game and want to be out there with their teammates and will lay it on the line, it's going to give you a chance to be successful when you play on Saturdays."
Bonner completed 12 of 20 passes for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns after missing action for more than a week because of a strained muscle.
