Bats Come Alive as @ASTATEBaseball Tops Milwaukee 13-3 in Home Opener

JONESBORO, Ark. (3/4/16) – The Arkansas State baseball team recorded a season-high 16 hits behind a quality start from Tyler Zuber and rolled to a 13-3 victory against the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in its 2016 home opener at Tomlinson Stadium/Kell Field Friday night.

Zuber picked up his first win of the season for the Red Wolves (5-4) as he tossed 6.1 innings and allowed three runs (all earned) on four hits with eight strikeouts against two walks. Jay Peters took the loss for Milwaukee (2-7) after allowing five runs (all earned) on nine hits.
