JONESBORO, Ark. (6/12/18) – Arkansas State head volleyball coach David Rehr announced Tuesday that Carissa Damler has joined the coaching staff for the upcoming 2018 campaign.
Damler is a native of Brownsburg, Ind., and just recently wrapped up her collegiate playing career at Purdue, where she was a defensive specialist from 2014-17. She saw action in 76 career matches, including all 66 of the Boilermakers’ matches the last two seasons.
“I believe Carissa will be a great addition to our staff,” Rehr said. “She went through an extensive interview process and with her background in the Big Ten she is aware of the level of play we are striving for.
