JONESBORO, Ark. (8/24/16) – The Arkansas State women’s soccer team will take to the road for the first time in its 2016 campaign when it travels to Hammond, La., to take on the Lions of Southeastern Louisiana Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Southeastern Soccer Complex.
The Red Wolves are coming off a weekend in which their original regular season opener was cancelled due to weather, but rebounded with a strong performance against Southern Miss just a day later on its home field.
A-State surrendered a goal in the 52nd minute off a deflected ball, but otherwise played sound defense.
