STATESBORO, Ga. (2/18/16) – Georgia Southern hit nine three-pointers in the first half and held the Arkansas State University men’s basketball team to 25 percent shooting to cruise to a 90-59 victory over the Red Wolves Thursday at Hanner Fieldhouse.
Devin Carter led A-State with 22 points, but fouled out with 7:12 remaining. The 20-point performance was the 12th for Carter this season. Anthony Livingston finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds, his 27th career double-double. Frederic Dure also finished in double figures, netting 10 points while pulling in six rebounds. Five players scored in double figures for the Eagles, led by 18 points from Mike Hughes.
