KENOSHA, Wis. (11/12/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team won the Warhawk Classic for the second straight season after defeating Nebraska in seven games Sunday in the championship match of the event being held at Sheridan Lanes in Kenosha, Wis.
A-State (27-12) and the Cornhuskers split the first two games of the championship match with Nebraska winning game one247-220 before a 180-160 Arkansas State victory in the second. The Cornhuskers won games three (257-236) and four (182-173) to get to the brink of the title, but the Red Wolves responded with a 99-pin victory in game five (277-178) and a 211-193 triumph to force the decisive game seven.
