BATON ROUGE, La. (4/13/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team registered a 2-3 record at the first day of the 2017 NCAA Women’s Bowling Tournament being held at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge, La.
The five matches today were part of the qualifying round and A-State is tied with Nebraska, but there are two more qualifying matches to be played tomorrow before the best-of-seven Baker format double elimination tournament begins. McKendree was the only team to go 5-0 on the day with Vanderbilt behind them at 4-1. FDU and Stephen F. Austin recorded 3-2 marks to currently stand in a tie for third.
