JONESBORO, Ark. (3/6/18) – The Arkansas State baseball got its sixth consecutive quality start and jumped out to an early lead in a 13-5 midweek win over UT Martin that featured wind gusts of up to 44 miles per hour Tuesday night at Tomlinson Stadium.
A-State (6-3) starter Nate Alberius turned in his third straight quality start to begin his career, and posted the team’s sixth consecutive, with seven strong innings to earn the win. The Little Rock, Ark., native struck out a career-high 11, also the most by a pitcher for the Red Wolves this year, and walked none while he gave up seven hits and three runs (only one earned).
