LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (5/20/16) – The Arkansas State baseball team trailed Little Rock 8-3 to begin the eighth inning, but scored nine runs over the final two frames and held on to defeat the Trojans by a score of 12-10 Friday night at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock, Ark., and in the process clinched a berth in the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
The win clinches a spot in the SBC tournament for the Red Wolves (26-27, 12-17 SBC) after Georgia State split a doubleheader earlier today against Georgia Southern and ULM dropped two contests to Louisiana-Lafayette.
