JONESBORO, Ark. (6/14/24) – Arkansas State track and field's Bradley Jelmert will compete for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team next week, as he was accepted into the U.S. Olympic Team Trials held next week at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Jelmert is one of 26 accepted and declared athletes in the men's pole vault. The 2024 NCAA Indoor silver medalist will compete in a qualifying round at 7:50 p.m. CT Friday, June 21. Should he advance the final, he will compete again Sunday, June 23, at 7:45 p.m. CT. The top three finishers in the event earn spots on the prestigious squad that will travel to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
