JONESBORO, Ark. (4/23/19) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Matt Daniel announced Tuesday that Jonesboro native Alexis Sharp will be the Red Wolves Director of Operations.
“Lex has made a name for herself with her work ethic, both as a player and a coach,” said Daniel. “She understands the attention to detail we need to make this program run to match our vision and will be great running day-to-day operations. We are glad to have her back in Jonesboro.”
Sharp returns to her hometown after three seasons as an assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University. During her time with Tigers, she was responsible for recruiting, equipment and travel operations, film exchange, scouting reports, academic progress and the strength and conditioning implementation.
