JONESBORO, Ark. (3/15/17) – Arkansas State freshman Zan Luka Stirn was named the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf of the Week on Wednesday after recently claiming a runner-up finish at the Tiger Invitational with a 10-under 206.
The Kranj, Slovenia, native collected his best finish of the season to lead Arkansas State at the tourney, which included a 19-team field made up of programs such as Auburn, Missouri, Georgia State, South Alabama, Mississippi State and others.
His 206 was the lowest three-round score by an A-State player this season, and he finished just three strokes behind tournament-champion Thomas Eldridge of UNC Wilmington.
