JONESBORO, Ark. (1/20/21) – A pair of Arkansas State women's track and field athletes are slated to compete in their first pentathlon of the season, as Allie Hensley and Camryn Newton-Smith will represent the Scarlet and Black at the Samford Multi on Thursday at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
Competition begins at 10 a.m. CT with the women's 60m hurdles. Hensley and Newton-Smith will face athletes from fellow Sun Belt Conference members South Alabama, Troy and ULM, as well as host Samford, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb and Montevallo.
The pair is competing in their first pentathlon since the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, held Feb.
