ESTERO, Fla. (2/14/16) – Led by three players collecting a top-25 finish, the Arkansas State women’s golf team tied for seventh place at the FGCU Eagle Invitational that came to a close Sunday at the Stoneybrook Golf Club.
The Red Wolves shot a final-round 312, giving them a combined 924 score for three-day, 54-hole tournament. A-State ended the first round tied for sixth place after shooting a 310, but took over sole possession of the spot yesterday after recording a 302.
A-State finished tied with Southern Illinois and ahead of seven other teams in the 15-field tournament.
