JONESBORO, Ark. (4/28/21) – A player bringing NCAA Tournament experience is set to join the 2021-22 Arkansas State women's basketball roster, as graduate transfer Ola Makurat signs with the Red Wolves after two seasons at Utah.
Makurat is the second graduate transfer to sign, joining Devyn Lowe (South Alabama), and was a standout at Liberty prior to two seasons with the Utes.
"With her experience at Liberty and Utah, and having played in the NCAA Tournament, Ola provides experience and a championship mentality," head coach Matt Daniel said. "Her ability to play inside and stretch the floor as well will be helpful on both ends.
