JONESBORO, Ark. (5/12/19) – The Arkansas State women’s team won the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship Sunday while the men finished second on the final day of the three day meet at the A-State Track & Field Complex.
The A-State women claimed their first outdoor conference title since 2015, second since 2001, and eighth overall title outdoors, fifth as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Texas State finished runner-up with 128 points while South Alabama was third with 127. Texas State won the men’s title with 122.5 points, edging A-State (117) and UT Arlington (109).
