A-State Tennis Suffers Set Back at Georgia State

ATLANTA, Ga. (3/23/19) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team lost to Georgia State 4-3 Saturday afternoon in a Sun Belt Conference matchup.

A-State won the doubles’ point after Pornpawee Pramethong and Amelia Guevremont won by default on court three and then Anita Detlava and Berta Masdevall Masip captured a 6-4 win on court one to give the Red Wolves the point.

In singles’ competition, Guevremont won by default on court six and Shannon O’Brien earned a 6-0, 6-3 win over Ilona Golynker on court five to put the Red Wolves just one point away from clinching the match.
