SPARTANBURG, S.C. (11/4/16) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team opened competition at the Wofford Invite at the Reeves Tennis Center with three singles victories and a win in the doubles’ bracket after the first day of play.
Victoria Roberts, Sabina Jeresic and Julie Gauguery all won their opening round matches on the day, while Gauguery teamed with Allison Quammen to earn a win in one of the doubles’ flights.
Roberts defeated Montse Mesalles 7-5, 6-2 to advance to semifinals off the College draw, while Jeresic won an exciting match over Georgia Southern’s Arianna De Winter.
