A-State Tennis Leads Louisiana 2-1 When Play Suspended

JONESBORO, Ark. (3/27/21) – Securing the doubles point and leading 2-1 in the match, the Arkansas State women's tennis team saw its Saturday home match with Louisiana suspended due to pre-determined travel arrangements. The two teams are hopeful to resume play at a later date.

Starting the match outdoors, A-State (4-4, 2-2 SBC) swept the doubles point against the Ragin' Cajuns (6-4, 2-1 SBC). Thea Rice and Hunter Roper defeated Floriane Picaut and Clara Mantaux 6-1 and the pair of Yasmine Humbert and Nejla Zukic knocked off Lucie Raquin and Babette Burgersdijk 6-3 to clinch the point.
