NEW ORLEANS, La. (4/20/17) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team had its season come to a close with a 4-0 loss to No. 6 UT Arlington in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Thursday at the City Park/Pepsi Tennis Center in New Orleans.
The Mavericks took the doubles’ point with a pair of 6-0 victories in the No. 1 and No. 3 matches to take an early lead. In singles’ competition UTA won matches 3, 4 and 5 to clinch the overall match and advance to the quarterfinal round where they will take on the No.
