JONESBORO, Ark. (1/28/18) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis lost to Central Arkansas 4-0 Sunday afternoon in the first outdoor of the season at the A-State Tennis Complex.
The Red Wolves (0-6) fell behind early after dropping the doubles’ point to the Bears despite closes scores in all three matches. Kirsty Venter and Sabina Jeresic stayed close with Rada Manataweewat and QiLi Ma through the first four points of the match, before eventually falling 6-3.
Anita Detlava and Berta Masdevall Masip also stayed with their opponents, Chunan Xiang and Amiru Shimoguchi, before also dropping their match 6-3 to give UCA the point.
