BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (9/30/18) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis closed out the final day of competition at the Samford Hidden Dual on Sunday afternoon with another victory in singles match play to close the three day even with five total victories at the event.
Amelia Guevremont took home a 6-0, 6-2 win over Southern Miss’ Katia De La Garza for her first victory of the weekend as the Red Wolves concluded their second fall competition of the year.
In other matches on the day, Shelby King lost to Arina Amaning (USM) 6-4, 6-2, while Anita Detlava took a 6-0, 6-3 defeat to Rikeetha Pereira.
