A-State Stands Fourth at Wolf Run Intercollegiate

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (9/9/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a second-round 300 Saturday at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate, moving the Red Wolves’ two-day combined total to 588 to place them fourth among 16 teams.

A-State completed yesterday’s first round tied for second place after shooting a 288, but dropped two places in the standings today after tacking 12 strokes onto that total. Although the Red Wolves fell in the standings, they are still just five strokes behind co-leaders UCF and Miami (OH). Kentucky stands third with a combined 584.

The Red Wolves ended the day with three players among the top-20 leaders, including Zan Luka Stirn, Joel Wendin and Tanner Napier.
