JONESBORO, Ark. (9/21/18) – The Arkansas State women’s team scored four times as the Red Wolves opened up their 2018 Sun Belt Conference slate with a 4-0 victory over Louisiana-Monroe Friday afternoon at the A-State Soccer Park.
The Red Wolves got goals from Sarah Sodoma, Dana O’Boye, Bailey Gellis and then were the beneficiaries of an ‘own goal’ by the Warhawks. The four goal outburst is the largest for an A-State team since it scored it also scored four against Troy on Sept. 17, 2017.
With the win, A-State improved to 4-2-2 overall and are 1-0-0 in conference play, while the Warhawks remain winless on the season at 0-9-0 and 0-2-0 in the Sun Belt.
