LAWRENCE, Kan. (10/19/17) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team concluded the first day of competition at the 2017 ITA Central Regional Championships with strong outings against some of the tournament’s top competitors.

Anita Detlava drew the toughest assignment of the first day after losing to No, Vladica Babic 6-0, 6-1, while Shelby King lost to Kansas’ Nina Khmelnitckaia 6-1, 6-2.
