JONESBORO, Ark. (1/25/19) – Arkansas State head football coach Blake Anderson announced Friday the final addition to the Red Wolves’ full-time coaching staff, naming coaching veteran Ed Pinkham as the interior defensive line coach.
Pinkham brings over 40 years of collegiate coaching experience with him to A-State, including 31 as a defensive coordinator. He most recently spent the last two seasons in the role at UMass, but also had FBS stops as defensive coordinator at Rutgers and Western Michigan. He served as the secondary coach at Minnesota from 1989-91 as well.
His time UMass saw the program record its most wins in back-to-back seasons in its seven-year history as an FBS member, while also collecting its first win over a team from one of the power-five conferences.
