A-State Men’s Golf Tied for Second at Duck Commander Intercollegiate

EL DORADO, Ark. (10/31/16) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a second-round 297 Monday at the Duck Commander Intercollegiate, giving it a 592 combined total and leaving it only one stroke behind leader Little Rock entering tomorrow’s final round.

The Red Wolves’ Tanner Napier remained atop the individual leaderboard after carding a 72 for the second 18 holes, which followed his course-record 68 shot yesterday at the Mystic Creek Golf Club. Napier’s 139 total gives him a four-stroke lead over ULM’s Hogan Arey.

A-State posted a 295 team score for Sunday’s opening round and is currently in a three-way tie for second place with Stephen F.
