A-State Men's Golf Tied for Fifth after Day Two of Duck Commander Intercollegiate

EL DORADO, Ark. (10/30/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the second round of the Duck Commander Intercollegiate in a tie for fifth place with Little Rock after shooting a second-round 311 at the Mystic Golf Club.

The Red Wolves have carded a 614 total through 36 holes and currently sit only one stroke behind third-place teams UNC Wilmington and Central Arkansas and just four strokes behind first-place Eastern Kentucky.

A-State has two players currently among the top 25 leaders and tied for 21st place. Junior Jakub Bares and redshirt junior Trent Jones carded a second-round 79 and 77, respectfully, and each has a 154 total.
