KENNESAW, Ga. (10/25/16) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a final-round 304 Tuesday at the Pinetree Intercollegiate, completing the two-day tournament in fifth place among 11 teams with a combined 893 score.
The Red Wolves entered play today in fourth place and within nine strokes of the leader, but dropped one spot in the final standings after posting their highest single-round score of the tourney. The squad began play yesterday at the Pinetree Country Club by recording a 301 and 288 for the first and second rounds, respectively.
Competing in its fourth tournament, A-State compiled its second lowest 54-hole total (893) and third best single-round (288) scores of the season.
